Titles

Every article to be published in the journal must have both a Turkish and an English title. Titles should be written in Calibri, 14-point font, and entirely in uppercase letters.

Author Name(s) and Affiliation

Information such as the author's name, academic title, institutional affiliation, and email address through which the author may be contacted should not be included beneath the title of the manuscript. When submitting a manuscript to the system, authors must ensure that no identifying information appears anywhere in the manuscript.

The author's first and last name, with only the initials capitalized, should be centered beneath the title. The author's institutional affiliation, email address, academic title, and ORCID number should be provided in a footnote in Calibri, 9-point font.

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should reflect the purpose, scope, and conclusions of the study and should consist of at least 150 and no more than 200 words. The abstract should not contain references, figures, or tables. Immediately below the abstract, three to five keywords should be provided. The title, abstract, and keywords should also be provided in English.

The abstract and keywords should be written in Calibri, 10-point font, with justified alignment, 1 cm left and right indentation, and 12 pt spacing before and after.

Main Text

The Turkish Language Association (TDK) Spelling Guide should be followed for the use of punctuation marks and other spelling and writing conventions in submitted manuscripts.

The main text should be written in Calibri, 12-point font, with justified alignment, 0 cm left and right indentation, a 1 cm first-line indent, and 12 pt spacing before and after paragraphs.

The page size should be A4, with margins of 3 cm on the top, bottom, left, and right. Pages should not be numbered.

Section Headings

All headings within the text should be written in bold, with the first letter of each word capitalized, using Calibri, 12-point font.

Footnotes should be written in Calibri, 9-point font, with justified alignment, 0 pt spacing before and after, and single line spacing. The use of footnotes should be avoided as much as possible and should be limited to explanatory notes.

Figures and Tables

All figures and tables included in the main text should be numbered and designated as Table 1, Graph 2, Figure 3, etc. The number and title should be centered below the relevant figure or table and written in Calibri, 9-point font.

Additional figures or tables that are too numerous to be included in the main text may be placed after the bibliography, provided that they are numbered accordingly.

Quotations

Quotations should be presented in italics and enclosed in quotation marks. Quotations of fewer than five lines should be incorporated into the text, whereas quotations longer than five lines should be presented as block quotations, indented 1 cm from both the left and right margins, with single line spacing.

Citation Style

Manuscripts should follow the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition (Notes and Bibliography) citation system. Footnotes should be placed after punctuation marks. A single space should be inserted after the footnote number.

The full bibliographic information of a source should be provided in its first citation. In subsequent citations of the same source, the title should be abbreviated.

Direct quotations of more than five lines from a source should be presented as block quotations without quotation marks and indented 1.25 cm from the main text.

All sources cited in the study should be listed alphabetically under the heading “Bibliography,” according to the authors' surnames. Sources with no identified author should be alphabetized according to their titles.

The complete page range of journal articles should be provided in the bibliography. Book and journal titles should be italicized, while article titles should be placed within quotation marks.

When multiple works by the same author are included, they should be arranged chronologically. For works with no identified author, the title of the work should be used in place of the author's name and included in the alphabetical arrangement.
