Aim & Scope

The ITU Journal of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering aims to provide an international peer-reviewed platform for the dissemination of high-quality theoretical, computational, experimental, and applied research in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering, and closely related interdisciplinary fields. The journal seeks to contribute to the advancement of engineering science and technology by publishing original research that demonstrates scientific rigor, technical significance, methodological soundness, and clear scholarly contribution.

The ITU Journal of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering publishes original research and scholarly studies in the broad fields of electrical, electronics, and computer engineering. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

• Electrical and electronic circuits and systems
• Signal and image processing
• Communication systems, networks, and telecommunications
• Control, automation, and intelligent systems
• Embedded systems, computer architecture, and cyber-physical systems
• Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven engineering
• Computer vision and pattern recognition
• Robotics and autonomous systems
• Information security and cybersecurity
• Software, computing, and distributed systems
• Power systems, power electronics, and electrical machines
• Sensors, instrumentation, measurement, and IoT systems

Interdisciplinary studies are considered when their primary scientific contribution lies within electrical, electronics, or computer engineering. Manuscripts should present a clear technical contribution and demonstrate appropriate theoretical, computational, experimental, or engineering validation.
