Abstract

The world of work is going through substantial changes and at the same time facing significant challenges. Although many of these changes and challenges are emerging more or less simultaneously across the globalized world such as the diffusion of artificial intelligence use and work disruption due to COVID-19, workers’ experiences of them vary substantially. The articles in this Special Issue of Studies in Psychology contribute to our understanding of this variation in workers’ experiences and highlight the role of organizational and cultural contexts in shaping worker experiences and outcomes in this new era.
