İleri Ürün Kalite Planlaması İlkeleri ile İyileştirilmiş Bir Yalın Ürün Geliştirme Süreci Oluşturulması

Abstract

İşletmelerin pazar başarısı açısından müşteri istek ve beklentilerini doğru bir şekilde karşılayan ürünleri hızlı bir şekilde, mümkün olduğunca düşük bir maliyette ve sürekli olarak sunabilme becerisi büyük önem taşımaktadır. Sadece pazar payının korunması değil, bu payın arttırılması açısından da bu beceri dahilinde yeni ürün sunum süreçlerinin özel bir yeri vardır. İşletmeler yeni ürün sunum süreçlerinde tasarım kalitesini sağlama, yani müşteri istek ve beklentilerini oluşturulan tasarımlara doğru bir şekilde yansıtma amacını hızlı ve kaynakları etkin kullanan, yani düşük maliyetli süreçlerle başarmak istemektedir. Bu doğrultuda tasarım kalitesinin sağlanmasında önemli araçlardan biri olan İleri Ürün Kalite Planlaması (APQP) ile düşük maliyetli ve hızlı tasarım süreçleri elde etmede kullanılabilecek yalın ürün geliştirme (LPD) süreci yaklaşımlarının birlikte kullanılmasının önemli katkılar yapacağı açıktır. Bu çalışmada her iki yaklaşımın ortaklaşabileceği noktalar belirlenmiş, buna bağlı olarak rezervuar üretimi alanında faaliyet gösteren bir işletmenin yeni ürün geliştirme süreci iki yaklaşımın ortaklaştığı bir model üzerinden değerlendirilerek iyileştirilmiş bir yeni ürün geliştirme sürecinin tanımlanmasında değer akış haritalama (VSM) tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır.

Development of an Improved Lean Product Development Process Through Advanced Product Quality Planning Principles

Abstract

In terms of market success, a business's capability to persistently deliver products that ac-curately fullfil customer requirements and expectations, rapidly and as cost-effectively as possible, holds great significance. This capability is not only crucial for maintaining market share but also for increasing it, giving special significance to new product introduction processes. In these processes, businesses aim to ensure design quality—that is, to accurately reflect customer needs and expecta-tions in their designs—through fast and resource-efficient methods, meaning low-cost processes. In this context, it is clear that combining Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), which is a key tool for ensuring design quality, with lean product development (LPD) approaches that can help achieve fast and low-cost design processes, can provide significant benefits. In this study, the com-mon points between these two approaches are identified. Based on this, the new product develop-ment process of a company operating in the field of reservoir production is evaluated through a model that integrates both approaches. The Value Stream Mapping (VSM) technique is used to de-fine an improved new product development process.
