Abstract
The fact that people try to comprehend, understand and evaluate the stimuli they have been exposed to throughout history affects the beginning of the perception process, which is a cognitive process. At the end of the perception process, perceptions that are the basis of human attitudes are reached. Since the perception process is a variable and subjective process, people can be affected by environmental factors, culture, and different views during this process. Perception managers, who know that they can affect people's perceptions, have engaged in perception management activities in order to motivate societies as they wish. Based on the examples of perception management in the Qur'an, we see that the deniers want to prevent the positive perceptions that may occur in the eyes of the society about the prophets and the creeds brought by them with some trap-making activities. Our aim in this study is to set traps based on perception operations carried out by deniers in the societies they live in, based on the examples mentioned in the Qur'an a) to discredit the truth-teller b) to base perception on reality c) to lean on values d) to appeal to emotions rather than reason e) to gain credibility and to find an effective carrier f) to use the weakness of following the majority g) to detach from the whole and to process the information under the headings. In this context, the data obtained were evaluated by using the historical documentation technique with the interpretive approach method, by making analyzes on the Kur’an samples.
