Journal of Applied Tourism Research [JATOR] aims to contribute to the field of tourism science by producing scientific knowledge.

JATOR is an international, refereed, indexed in other indices, scientific periodical.

The journal publishes original studies that have not been published elsewhere, original articles on applied tourism, tourism education, field research, case studies and theories. The scope of the journal consists of scientific articles that can be associated with tourism.

The journal does not impose any Article Processing Charge (APC) at any stage of the publishing process.

All publications are subject to a peer-review process; and publications cannot be used partially or completely without citing.
