Journal of Economy, Culture and Society (JECS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal published biannually, in June and December. It is the official publication of the Methodology and Sociology Research Center at Istanbul University Faculty of Economics, and has been published continuously since 1960. Starting with Issue 57 in 2018, the journal changed its name from Sosyoloji Konferansları to Journal of Economy, Culture and Society. Since 2022, the journal has discontinued its print edition and continues publication as an e-journal; from this date onward, its publication language is English. JECS addresses a broad readership, including academics, researchers, professionals, students, and related academic and professional institutions.
