About

Çankırı Karatekin University Journal of Institute of Social Sciences (CAKU JISS, ISSN: 1309-3738, e-ISSN: 2791-9374) is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (April and November). Articles submitted for publication in the journal are evaluated by at least two independent referees with double-blindness. The journal publishes original theoretical and/or analytical scientific studies in Turkish and English, provided that they are in the discipline of social sciences (Business, Communication, Economics, Education, Geography, History, Information and Records Management, Literature, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Theology, etc.).
A similarity report is required for every study submitted for publication. (Those whose similarity rate exceeds 20%y are not taken into account). Ethics committee approval is required for all kinds of studies conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from the participants by using survey, interview, focus group work, observation, experiment and interview techniques.
There may be delays in the evaluation period of the studies due to the large number of studies submitted to the journal, the late return from the field editor(s), and the inability to receive feedback from the referees assigned to evaluate.
