Honey Productıon in Bingol
Abstract
Beekeeping is a good alternative activity and income source for rural population with its idiosyncratic features. Although Turkey ecologically has a very favorable nature for beekeeping, unfortunately only a fraction of its potential is used. In this study, it was calculated regression analysis by used new and old hives number, honey production amount and the number of businesses so as to evaluate the situation of the beekeeping in Bingol. According to the results; the variable of new hives have been found important and signi cant coef cient. Showing explanatory of model R2 and arranged R2 are found 0.54 and 0.41 respectively. Based on these results; should be encouraged to manufacturers newer, modernized, reducing yield losses to make new hive beekeeping in types.
