Review Process

Journal of the Institute of Science and Technology adopts a double-blind peer review system in its publication process. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent referees to ensure scientific impartiality and publication quality.

In this system, while the editor-in-chief and field editors have access to the identities of both authors and reviewers, authors do not know the reviewers’ identities, and reviewers do not know the authors’ identities. Thus, the evaluation process focuses solely on the scientific merit of the work. Reviewers are carefully selected according to the subject of the manuscript and the authors’ field of expertise.

For the double-blind process to function properly, authors are required to submit their manuscripts in an anonymized form (blind manuscript) during the initial submission. This step is carried out using the Manuscript Initial Submission Template.

This review model, as implemented by our journal, constitutes the cornerstone of our publication policy, which is based on scientific transparency, impartiality, and academic reliability.
