All submissions to the Journal of Management Theory and Practices Research (JMTPR) undergo a comprehensive editorial and scientific evaluation process in accordance with ethical publishing principles and the criteria of TR Dizin and international indexing systems.
1. Submission and Upload Phase
Authors are required to upload the following documents completely during submission:

• Manuscript file (Word format, prepared in accordance with the journal template)
• Copyright Transfer Agreement (signed by all authors)
• Ethical Approval Certificate or Declaration of Exemption
• Turnitin/iThenticate Similarity Report (recommended similarity rate: below 20%)
• Cover and Declaration Form (including author contributions, funding disclosure, conflict of interest, use of AI, etc
Note: Submissions lacking required documents or ethical declarations will be returned without editorial evaluation.
2. Editorial Pre-Evaluation (Initial Check- 20 days)
The editorial board evaluates each submission using a detailed checklist. The following aspects are reviewed:
Formatting Compliance:
• Compliance with the journal template (font size, spacing, heading structure)
• APA 7 citation and reference formatting
• Does the reference list start on a new page?
• Are all main and subheadings clearly structured?
• Are both Turkish and English titles, abstracts, and keywords provided?
• Are JEL codes included?
Ethical and Legal Compliance:
• Ethical committee approval (if required)
• Ethical declarations (author contribution, conflict of interest, funding)
• If AI tools were used, is the scope clearly stated?
Author Information:
• Are all ORCID IDs complete and valid?
• Are institutional affiliations and email addresses correct?
• Is the institutional ROR ID (optional) included?
• If derived from a thesis, are thesis details (TR–ENG) clearly stated?
Similarity and Originality:
• Is the similarity index below 20%?
• Are similarities the result of proper citation or potential plagiarism?
• Are all figures, tables, and visuals properly cited?
Note: Submissions with deficiencies at this stage are returned to the authors for correction.
3. Peer Review Process (30 days)
Manuscripts that pass the editorial screening are sent to at least two independent referees under a double-blind peer review process. Based on referee reports, one of the following editorial decisions is made:
Acceptance
Minor Revision
Major Revision
Rejection
Note: R For articles for which Minor/Major revision is decided, revision is requested from the Author(s).
• Authors are required to upload their revision files to the system within 20 days.
• If the author(s) is convinced that the necessary corrections have been made by the author(s), it is decided to publish. If the author(s) do not believe that the necessary corrections have been made, the article may be rejected.
• In case of a positive or negative opinion from the referees regarding the publication of the article, a third referee will be determined and the editorial board will decide to publish or reject the article in line with the decision of the third referee.
4. Final Decision and Publication
Once all revisions are completed, the manuscript is accepted for publication upon editorial approval. A DOI is assigned to each accepted article, and the article is published as open access under the CC BY-NC-ND license.
