The scope of the Journal of Engineering and Basic Sciences covers original studies in the fields of basic science, engineering and technology. An in-depth theoretical or experimental knowledge and evaluation result on a particular subject is desired.

National and international ethical rules must be followed. Within the scope of the publication policy, there is a requirement to comply with research and publication ethics.
Article Submission
Journal of Engineering and Basic Sciences has an online submission and online evaluation system. The option to follow article review processes is offered. All articles must be submitted online from the system. Submitted articles must comply with the scope of the Journal of Engineering and Basic Sciences. It covers original studies in the fields of basic science, engineering and technology. The article language must be English, and the articles will be published this way. It should be sent in accordance with the article template, which will be included in the required files section.

This journal uses a double-blind review procedure. For this reason, the author is expected to avoid self-identifying quotes and references within the text. A separate title page containing the title, all author names, links, author contact information (e-mail, phone number and fax number). Any approval or financing information should also be included on this page. Other headings should start on a new page. Main headings should be written in capital letters. Other headings under the main heading should be written in lowercase letters, except for the first letter of the heading. The author to whom correspondence should be addressed should be indicated with a star symbol. The acceptable similarity rate for the article must be less than or equal to 20%.

Tüm makaleler, sistemden online olarak gönderilmelidir. Gönderimi yapılan makaleler, Journal of Engineering and Basic Sciences dergisinin kapsamına uygun olmalıdır. Bu dergide, çift-kör inceleme prosedürü esas alınmaktadır. Bu sebeple, yazarın metin içerisinde kendini tanımlayıcı alıntılardan ve referanslardan kaçınması beklenir. Başlık, tüm yazar adları, bağlantıları, yazar iletişim bilgileri (e-posta, telefon numarası ve faks numarası) içeren ayrı bir başlık sayfası. Herhangi bir onay veya finansman bilgisi de bu sayfada yer almalıdır. Diğer başlıklar yeni bir sayfadan başlamalıdır. Ana başlıklar büyük harfle yazılmalıdır. Ana başlık altındaki diğer başlıklar ise başlığın ilk harfi hariç, küçük harfle yazılmalıdır. Yazışmaların yapılacağı yazar yıldız simgesi ile belirtilmelidir. Makale için kabul edilenbilir benzerlik oranı %20 ye eşit veya küçük olmalıdır.

Summary
The abstract is expected to contain a brief factual description of the article content. It should be a maximum of 250 words. Abbreviations should not be used. After the author's address, there should be 1 line space for the abstract. Key words should be written after leaving one line space from the abstract.
Keywords
It should reflect the main features of the study, in no more than 5 words.
Text
It should be numbered within the article. 1. Introduction, 2. Experimental or Theoretical (Material and Method), 3. Findings and Discussion, 4. References. Text 2.1, 2.2,……..etc. It should be numbered according to style.
Entrance
There should be a brief introduction that includes the current status of the subject discussed in the article and the innovations in the current article.
Experimental or Theoretical (Material and Method)
After the introduction, the relevant section should be explained. Detailed technical explanations should be included in this section of the article. If ethics committee permission is required for the study, the ethics committee date-number must be given.
Findings and Discussion
Repetition of hypotheses should be avoided. Results and discussions should be included.
Thanks
If the study was supported by any institution or person, this should be stated in the acknowledgments section. Acknowledgments should be written briefly and at the end of the text.
Conflict of Interest
The authors declare no conflict of interest.

References should be numbered consecutively. It should be written at the end of the article. References within the text should be given with numbers in square brackets, with the corresponding numbers from the list of references.
If the source is an article: Author's surname, initials, name of the article, journal name, volume number, pages, year.
If the source is a book: Author's surname, initials, name of the book, volume number, editor(s) (if any), place of publication, page range, year.
If the source is a printed thesis: Author's surname, initials, name of the thesis, type of thesis (Master's degree or PhD), institute submitted, location, page range, year.
If the source is a congress paper: Author's surname, initials, title of the paper, name of the congress, seminar or conference, location, page range, year.
For Electronic Encyclopedias and books: Internet address must be given.
Articles that have not yet been published should be listed as “accepted” or “in press” only if they have been accepted for publication. Otherwise, unpublished articles should be noted as “submitted for publication” or “in preparation” as appropriate.
Figures and Tables
Figures should be given on the same page in JPG format. All figures, graphs and tables should be indicated consecutively with numbers. Table footnotes should be written in lowercase letters. The resolution of the relevant figures must be sufficient. Graphics should typically be 6-8cm in size.
Symbols and Abbreviations
In general, the SI system of units should be used. Mathematical expressions and formulas should be written in word format with the equation editor in 9 point size. Index font should be 8 point. Equations given in the text should be numbered in parentheses (). When abbreviations are first used, they must be defined.

Özet kısmının, makale içeriğinin kısa olgusal açıklamasını içermesi beklenir. Maksimum 250 kelime olmalıdır. Kısaltmalar kullanılmamalıdır. Yazarın adresinden sonra özet kısmı için 1 satır boşluk bırakılmalıdır. Özetten bir satır boşluk bırakıldıktan sonra anahtar sözcükler yazılmalıdır.

5 kelimeden fazla olmamak koşulu ile çalışmanın ana özelliklerini yansıtmalıdır.
Metin
Makale içerisinde numaralandırılmalıdır. 1. Giriş, 2. Deneysel veya Teorik (Materyal ve Metod), 3. Bulgular ve Tartışma, 4. Kaynaklar. Metin 2.1, 2.2,……..vb. stili ile numaralandırılmalıdır.
Giriş
Makalede ele alınan konusunun güncel durumunu ve mevcut makaledeki yenilikleri içeren kısa bir giriş olmalıdır.
Deneysel veya Teorik (Materyal ve Metod)
Giriş kısmından sonra ilgili bölüm açıklanmalıdır. Ayrıntılı teknik açıklamalara, makalenin bu bölümünde yer verilmelidir. Çalışma için etik kurul izin gerekiyorsa, etik kurul tarih-numarası verilmelidir.
Bulgular ve Tartışma
Hipotezlerin tekrarlarından kaçınılmalı. Sonuç ve tartışmalara yer verilmelidir.
Teşekkürler
Çalışma herhangi bir kurum veya kişi tarafından desteklendiyse bu durum, teşekkür kısmında belirtilmelidir. Teşekkür metnin sonunda ve kısa olarak yazılmalıdır.
Çıkar Çatışması
Yazarlar herhangi bir çıkar çatışması beyan etmemiştir.

Şekiller ve Tablolar
Şekiller, JPG formatında aynı sayfada verilmelidir. Tüm şekil, grafik ve tablolar ardışık olarak rakamlarla belirtilmelidir. Tablo dipnotları küçük harfle yazılmaldır. İlgili şekillerin çözünürlüğü yeterli düzeyde olmalıdır. Grafikler tipik olarak 6-8 cm boyutunda olmalıdır.
Semboller ve Kısaltmalar
Genel olarak, SI birim sistemi kullanılmalıdır. Matematiksel ifadeler ve formüller word formatında denklem editörü ile 9 punto büyüklüğünde yazılmalıdır. Dizin yazı tipi 8 punto olmalıdır. Metin içinde verilen denklemler parantez () içinde numaralandırılmalıdır. Kısaltmaların ilk kullanılmasında, tanımlanması gerekmektedir.

Journal Ethical Principles
Journal of Engineering and Basic Sciences has accepted that internationally accepted ethical rules and publication policies must be applied by all parties (editor, referee, author). In order for an article to be published in the journal, it must be deemed suitable for publication by at least two referees. Articles that passed the blind referee process and had no missing documents were deemed suitable to be published and shared in the journal. During the publication process or after publication, articles that do not comply with the journal's publication ethics policy are removed from publication. Journal referees and/or the editorial board have the right to request documents regarding the study outputs from the authors in studies they deem necessary. If documents are not submitted, the article will be rejected. If there are situations regarding ethical issues, information should be given to the journal e-mail address.

Author names must be presented in full.
The subject of the study must be appropriate to the scope of the journal.
Plagiarized and unethical works should not be submitted.
There should be no copyright infringement.
There should be no conflict of interest
The study scope, methodology and results should be clearly stated.
The similarity rate should not exceed 20%.

Journal Publication Policy

The content of the journal can be accessed online without paying any fee. It does not charge processing fees (APC) and article submission fees (ASC). The article finalization period is a maximum of 4 months. The article in the evaluation process can be withdrawn through the DergiPark system, provided that all authors send a withdrawal request letter containing the wet signatures of all authors. However, the relevant article cannot be sent to another journal before this process is completed. An article whose evaluation has been completed cannot be withdrawn. All rights of the published articles belong to the Journal of Engineering and Basic Sciences. The scientific responsibilities of the article belong to the authors.

Journal of Engineering and Basic Sciences dergisi, uluslararası düzeyde kabul görmüş etik kuralların ve yayın politikalarının, tüm taraflarca (editör, hakem, yazar) uygulanması gerektiğini kabul etmiştir. Bir makalenin dergide yayımlanabilmesi için, en az iki hakem tarafından yayımlanmaya uygun görülmesi gerekmektedir. Kör hakem sürecini geçebilen ve eksik belge bulunmayan makaleler dergide yayımlanmaya ve paylaşılmaya uygun görülmüştür. Yayım sürecinde veya yayımlandıktan sonra, derginin yayın etik politikasına uygun olmayan makaleler yayımdan çıkarılır. Dergi hakemlerinin ve/veya editör kurulunun, gerekli gördüğü çalışmalarda, yazarlardan çalışma çıktılarına ait belgeleri isteme hakkı mevcuttur. Belgeler sunulmaz ise makale reddedilecektir. Etik konuları ile ilgili durumlar söz konusu ise dergi e-mail adresine bilgi verilmesi gerekmektedir.
