Beden Eğitimi Dersi Katılımını Şekillendiren Çekici ve Destekleyici Unsurlar Ölçeğinin Türkçeye Uyarlanması: Geçerlik Güvenirlik Çalışması

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı; Beden Eğitimi Dersi Katılımını Şekillendiren Çekici ve Destekleyici Unsurlar Ölçeği’ nin (BEŞÇD) geçerlik güvenirlik yaparak alanyazına katkıda bulunmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Spor Bilimleri Fakültelerinde ve Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksek Okulu (BESYO)’nda öğrenim gören %55.3’ünün kadın (n=176), %44.7’sinin erkek (n=142) olmak üzere toplam 318 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Orijinal adı ‘The Attractors and Facilitators for Physical Education (AFPE)’ olan ölçek, 44 maddeden ve 7’li Likert tipi derecelendirmeden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler, %95 güven düzeyinde SPSS 25.0 ve LISREL 8.7 programları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada kullanılan ölçeklerin güvenilirlik düzeyleri içsel tutarlılık yöntemiyle hesaplanmış ve Cronbach Alpha güvenilirlik ölçütünden faydalanılmıştır. Bulgular: Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçlarına göre ölçekte yer alan maddelerin faktör yükleri, 0.557 ile 0.991 arasında değiştiği belirlenmiş, bu durum ölçeğin maddelerinin hedeflenen yapıyı güçlü bir şekilde temsil ettiğini ortaya koymuştur. Bu bulgular, ölçeğin faktör yapısının sağlam bir yapısal geçerliliğe sahip olduğunu desteklemektedir. Ölçeğin genel Cronbach Alfa katsayısı α=0.725 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Sonuç: Bu çalışma kapsamında gerçekleştirilen AFA, DFA ve güvenirlik analizleri, BEŞÇD’ nin 26 maddeden ve 7 alt boyuttan oluşan geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Ölçeğin alt boyutları; Toplumsal Katkı ve İnsan Odaklılık, Rol Model Etkisi, Fiziksel Aktivite ve Spor Tutkusu, Aile Etkisi, Öz Yeterlik, Okul Ortamına Tanıdıklık ve Ekonomik Güvence ve Maddi Kazanç olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu bulgular, BEŞÇD’ nin spor alanında eğitim gören bireylerin mesleki yönelimlerini değerlendirmek için kullanılabilecek uygun bir araç olduğunu göstermektedir.

Adaptation of the Scale of Attractive and Supportive Factors Shaping Participation in Physical Education Classes into Turkish: Validity and Reliability Study

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to contribute to the literature by establishing the validity and reliability of the Attractive and Supportive Factors Shaping Participation in Physical Education Classes Scale (BEŞÇD). Materials and Methods: The study group consisted of a total of 318 students enrolled in the Faculty of Sports Sciences and the Physical Education and Sports College (FSSC), of whom 55.3% were female (n=176) and 44.7% were male (n=142). The scale, originally named “The Attractors and Facilitators for Physical Education (AFPE),” consists of 44 items and a 7-point Likert-type rating scale. The data obtained from the study were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and LISREL 8.7 programs at a 95% confidence level. The reliability levels of the scales used in the study were calculated using the internal consistency method and Cronbach's Alpha reliability criterion. Findings: According to the confirmatory factor analysis results, the factor loadings of the items in the scale ranged from 0.557 to 0.991, indicating that the items in the scale strongly represent the targeted structure. These findings support the robust structural validity of the scale's factor structure. The overall Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the scale was calculated as α=0.725. Conclusion: The AFA, DFA, and reliability analyses conducted in this study revealed that the BEŞÇD is a valid and reliable measurement tool consisting of 26 items and 7 subscales. The sub-dimensions of the scale are: Social Contribution and Human-Centeredness, Role Model Effect, Physical Activity and Passion for Sports, Family Influence, Self-Efficacy, Familiarity with the School Environment, and Economic Security and Financial Gain. These findings indicate that the BEŞÇD is a suitable tool for assessing the professional orientations of individuals pursuing education in the field of sports.
