Journal of Occupational Safety Science (JOSS) is an international, open-access scientific journal published by the Iğdır University Occupational Health and Safety Application and Research Center (İSGUAMER) in accordance with the principles of scientific independence, impartiality, and blind peer review.
Journal of Occupational Safety Science (JOSS) aims to disseminate scientific studies conducted nationally and internationally in the field of occupational health and safety—including Occupational Health and Safety, Labor Law, Risk Assessment, Workplace Monitoring and Hygiene, Workplace Hazards (physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, psychosocial risks), Fire Safety, Emergency Situations, Construction, Mining, Machinery, Industrial Electrical and Electronics, Agriculture, Social and Human Sciences, and Educational Sciences—to relevant parties, and thereby share scientific knowledge with society. The journal is committed to publishing original and high-quality studies rapidly without any commercial interest.
Articles submitted for publication in the journal are expected to be original research, applied and educational articles, high-quality reviews, and technical/short notes that have not been published or reviewed elsewhere. The journal is planned to be published twice a year, in June and December, as an online (e-journal) publication in both Turkish and English. Being open-access, the journal will not charge any fees for the publication or review process.
