PUBLICATION PRINCIPLES
1. The Journal of Vocational and Social Sciences of Turkey is an international, peer-reviewed e-journal published three times a year in April, August, and December.
2. Research articles, review articles, and case reports related to all subjects in vocational and social sciences may be submitted to the journal. The type of article must be indicated by the author(s) when submitting the manuscript.
3. Articles submitted to the journal must not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere for publication.
4. Articles should be written in either Turkish or English.
5. Articles must be prepared in accordance with our writing guidelines and submitted via the DergiPark system. Along with the article, the Article Submission Form, signed by all authors, must also be uploaded to the system. Authors must provide their titles, affiliations, contact information, and Orcid IDs in the system without any missing information.
6. By submitting their work, authors declare that they have not committed any form of plagiarism in the article, and they accept full responsibility for any plagiarism-related issues, with no liability for the journal.
7. Articles submitted for publication must adhere to research and publication ethics.
8. All submitted articles are initially screened using the iThenticate plagiarism detection software. Articles with a similarity index exceeding 20% are rejected without proceeding to the review process.
9. Articles are sent to at least two reviewers for evaluation regarding content and format. Reviewers remain anonymous to the authors, and vice versa. If one review is positive and the other negative, the editor may send the article to a third reviewer or make a final decision based on the reviewer reports.
10. Based on the reviewers' feedback, the article may be accepted for publication, revisions may be requested from the author, or the article may be rejected. If revisions are requested, the author must submit the revised manuscript within one month.
11. Articles with excessive writing errors or failing to meet scientific standards will be rejected.
12. Unpublished articles will not be returned to the authors.
13. The opinions expressed in articles published in the journal are not the views of the journal. Full responsibility lies with the author.
14. No monetary copyright fees are paid to the authors of published articles.
15. Articles that do not comply with the publication principles will not be submitted for peer review.
16. Authors are responsible for correctly entering their names, titles, and order of authorship when uploading articles to the system.
The Journal of Vocational and Social Sciences of Turkey aims to contribute to the fields of vocational and social sciences through academic studies, thereby fostering the development of these fields. The journal is an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal that seeks to publish original and high-quality studies in social sciences while providing an academic perspective on vocational education topics.

4. If your article requires Ethical Committee Approval, please attach your Ethics Committee Approval. 5. Upload the similarity report (iThenticate, Turnitin, etc.) as an additional file when submitting your article.
If any of the required documents are missing or do not comply with the format, your article will not be accepted by our journal.
The Journal of Vocational and Social Sciences of Turkey was published twice a year (May and November) in 2019 and 2020, and since 2021, it has been published three times a year (April, August, and December). The journal accepts articles in Turkish and English on all topics related to social sciences and vocational sciences. No evaluation or submission fees are charged for articles submitted to the journal. The views expressed in articles published in the journal are not the views of the journal. All responsibility lies with the authors. No copyright fees are paid to the authors. Articles previously published, accepted for publication, or under review for publication elsewhere will not be accepted.
