IYYU Journal of PhytoPharmacy aims to contribute to literature by publishing articles of high scientific standards related to pharmaceutical sciences and phytopharmacy. The journal targets national and international communities and aims to increase international author contributions.

IYYU Journal of PhytoPharmacy accepts Turkish and English articles in the fields of pharmaceutical sciences and phytopharmacy. The journal is open access, peer-reviewed academic journal published three issues a year (January-May-September) and published electronically. All article evaluation and publication processes are completely free of charge.

General Information
IYYU Journal of PhytoPharmacy is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles, case reports (limited number), reviews and letters to the editor in the fields of Pharmacy Sciences and in this context mainly Ethnobotany, Phytochemistry, Ethnopharmacology, Biotechnology, Toxicology, Aromatherapy, Phytotherapy, Biochemistry, Plant Tissue Culture, Biological and Pharmacological activities. The responsibility of the articles belongs to the authors.
The journal is published in 3 issues per year, January – May – September. With the proposal of the editors and the approval of the advisory board, additional special issues can also be organised under the responsibility of an assigned temporary editor focused on a specific topic.
The language of the journal is Turkish and English. Turkish publications must include an abstract in English. For English-language publications, Turkish abstracts are added by the authors or, if this is not possible, by the editorial board.

General Publication Principles
Submitted manuscripts should be appropriate to the purpose and scope of the journal. Original, unpublished manuscripts that are not in the evaluation process in another journal and whose content and submission have been approved by each author are accepted for evaluation.
Manuscripts submitted to the journal are first checked by technical support for compliance with the journal spelling rules. Manuscripts that are not prepared in accordance with the journal spelling rules are sent back to the authors with technical correction requests. Manuscripts that are judged to be in accordance with the journal writing format are evaluated in terms of scope. If the manuscripts
do not comply with the instructions for authors or are outside the scope of the journal, they may be rejected by the editor without peer review. Manuscripts that are suitable for the scope of the journal are sent to double-blind referees. The approval of at least two referees is required for a manuscript to be accepted for publication. The referees are asked for their opinions on whether the manuscript is suitable for publication. If revisions are requested by the referees, the manuscript is sent to the author again. When the referees request some changes in the study and the author(s) do not agree with this, they can withdraw the article. Authors who accept the changes should mark the changes
they have made on the main text when submitting the revision files of their manuscripts, in addition, they should send their notes on the suggestions put forward by the referees in the "Reply to Referees" file. Each referee comment should be followed by the author reply and the line numbers where the changes were made should also be indicated. Revised manuscripts should be sent to the journal within 30 days following the decision letter. If the revised version of the manuscript is not uploaded within the specified period, the revision option may be cancelled. If authors need additional time for revision, they should submit their extension requests to the journal before the end of the first 30 days. After the revisions suggested by the referee are completed, the manuscripts are re-evaluated by the Editorial Board and published.
The Editor and the Editorial Board have the right to request changes, and the publication is held until the requested changes are made. In the event that all or part of a submitted text is to be published elsewhere, it is obligatory to inform the editors. After the manuscript is submitted to the Journal for publication, none of the author names can be deleted from the author list, a new name cannot be added as an author, and the order of authors cannot be changed without the written permission of all authors. Print-ready PDF files of accepted manuscripts are sent to the corresponding authors, and they are requested to submit their publication approval to the journal within 2 days.
