A Study into the Relationships among Consumers’ Diet-Focused Behaviors, Organic Nutrition, and Environmentally Conscious Behaviors

Abstract

Currently, consumers can be game-changing supporters of a more sustainable world by being healthy and environmentally conscious and opting for food produced in view of social responsibility. It is evident that there are relationships among healthy food, life style, and environmentally conscious consumption and consumers have been becoming more concerned about their own health and environmental issues. The present study conducted to this end revealed relationships among diet-focused behaviors, organic nutrition, and environmentally conscious behaviors. The data was collected with online questionnaires and SPSS, a statistical software program, was used to conduct the regression analyses, frequency analyses and factor analyses of the data. Results show that there is a relationship between consumers ‘diet-focused behaviors, organic nutrition and environmentally conscious behaviors.
