Çankırı Karatekin University Faculty of Letters Journal (KAREFAD) (ISSN: 2147-8465) is a publication of Çankırı Karatekin University Faculty of Letters. KAREFAD is published online twice a year (April and October). KAREFAD includes original scientific (peer-reviewed) articles, opinions, reader letters, promotional articles, translations, news and meeting announcements that examine the problems in the field of social and human sciences in Turkey and in the world and offer solutions. KAREFAD uses the open access publishing model. The journal accepts publications in Turkish and English. No fee such as article submission or processing fee is charged for the articles submitted for publication in the journal.
Articles submitted to the journal undergo preliminary review by the Editorial Board and the Article Evaluation Committee. Articles that pass the preliminary review are sent to at least two reviewers for evaluation in accordance with the double-blind peer review principle. If one reviewer's report is positive and the other is negative, the article is sent to a third reviewer for evaluation. The final decision is made by the editor based on the opinions of at least two of the three reviewers. For articles related to other sections, such as book reviews, the editorial board's evaluation is valid. The author(s) are responsible for the thoughts and opinions expressed in the articles. The opinions expressed in the articles cannot be considered as the opinion of the KAREFAD journal.
The scope of KAREFAD is History, Geography, Literature, Sociology, Philosophy, Archeology, Art History, Eastern and Western Languages, Anthropology, Psychology, Educational Sciences and social and human sciences. KAREFAD aims to share the studies carried out in the field of Social Sciences in the world and in Turkey with the scientific world, and to gather the scientists who carry out these studies under the umbrella of KAREFAD. For this reason, KAREFAD has the feature of being the publication organ of scientific information and studies both nationally and internationally.
