Abstract

The work examines the transformations that Iran, which was not at the center of the war but was the scene of its strategic location and internal struggle, underwent in the light of historical documents. After revealing Iran's internal political structure before the war, the weakness of the Qajar Dynasty, and the fact that this created an environment open to external interventions, the author evaluates the activities of England, Russia, and the Ottoman Empire in the region chronologically and analytically.

BİRİNCİ DÜNYA SAVAŞI'NDA İRAN ADLI KİTABIN İNCELEMESİ

Abstract

Eser, savaşın merkezinde yer almamasına rağmen stratejik konumu ve iç mücadelesine sahne olan İran’ın geçirdiği dönüşümleri tarihsel belgeler ışığında ele almaktadır. Yazar, İran’ın savaş öncesi iç siyasi yapısını, Kaçar Hanedanlığının zayıflığını ve bunun dış müdahalelere açık bir ortam yarattığını ortaya koyduktan sonra İngiltere, Rusya ve Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun bölgedeki faaliyetlerini kronolojik ve analitik bir şekilde değerlendirmektedir.
