All articles published in Kastamonu University Journal of Forestry Faculty is undergone a double blind peer review which means that the reviewers will not know the identity of the authors, and vice versa, throughout the review process.

After submission, the submitted manuscript is assessed for suitability by the editor. At this stage, the editor might reject the article immediately. If the manuscript is suitable for our journal, it will then be peer-reviewed by two or more independent and anonymous referees who are experts in the relevant field.

The referees advise the editor whether to publish the manuscript in our journal. The manuscript is revised based on the reviewers’ comments if any revision is required, and resubmitted. Then, a further revision may be asked, or the editor makes a final decision on the manuscript following the revision
