Osmaniye Korkut Ata University Journal of Health Sciences - OKÜSBD is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Osmaniye Korkut Ata University. The journal aims to publish high-quality, original, ethically sound, and open-access scientific studies in the field of health sciences. The journal supports the dissemination, visibility, and practical application of scientific knowledge in health sciences. In this regard, it aims to contribute to national and international academic literature, the improvement of health services, the enhancement of clinical practices, and the protection of public health. OKÜSBD considers theoretical and applied studies in various fields of health sciences, particularly nursing, midwifery, nutrition and dietetics, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, health management, public health, clinical and applied health sciences, health education, health policies, and health services research. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, systematic reviews/meta-analyses, case reports, short reports/technical notes, and, when deemed necessary, editorial or invited articles. The publication languages of the journal are Turkish and English. The journal follows a double-blind peer review process. Submitted manuscripts are evaluated by at least two field experts after editorial preliminary review and similarity check. Publication processes are carried out in accordance with the principles of scientific impartiality, confidentiality, editorial independence, and publication ethics. OKÜSBD adopts an open-access and free publishing model. No fees are charged to authors or readers for manuscript submission, evaluation, acceptance, publication, or access.
