Hâlâ Düşünüyorum

Abstract

Descartes’a göre tüm diğer bilgilerin zemininde yer alan ben bilincine türetmeyle değil görüyle ulaşılır. “Düşünüyorum, (o halde) varım (benim)” beyanı, bir argüman olarak ele alınmamalıdır. Bu beyanın, görüsel bir bilginin ifadesi olarak değerlendirilmesi, Descartes’ın düşünce sisteminin bütünü bakımından yerinde olacaktır. Kendi kendisinin bilincine görüyle varılabildiğini öne sürmeyi mümkün kılan ise Descartes’ın cevher anlayışıdır. Buna göre ben bilinci söz konusu olduğunda düşünen, düşünme ve düşünülen aynıdır. Aralarındaki farklar gerçek değildir; sadece düşünce bakımından farklıdırlar.
