Policies to increase public education expenditures and develop qualified education services are of great importance in terms of ensuring income distribution and sustainable growth. Education expenditures aimed at increasing human capital can make significant contributions to increasing economic growth and reducing income inequality. In this study, it is aimed to examine the relationship between education expenditures and income distribution for Eurozone countries in the 2008-2020 period with panel Fourier causality analysis. As a result of the analysis, one-way causality was obtained from education expenditures to income distribution for the overall causality in the countries in question. When looked at on a country basis, a causality conclusion was reached from education expenditures to income distribution in Finland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Slovak Republic and Slovenia. Causal relationships from income distribution to education expenditures have been determined in Latvia, Portugal and Spain. For Latvia, it was concluded that there was two-way causality. There is no causality in the other countries included in the study. Based on the research findings, it is possible to say that increasing the level of education can contribute to the elimination of inequality in income distribution.
