The Self-Confidence Levels of the Youth Camp Female Leader Candidates

Abstract

The aim of the research was to analyse the self-confidence levels of the youth camp female


leader candidates subjected to the training by the Ministry of Youth and Sports [GSB]. The


research was of the screening model, the trial group of the research consisted of 326 Female


Leader Candidates participated in the training “The Youth Camp Leader Candidates” held in


Antalya in 2014 by the GSB. The research data was obtained by “The Self-Confidence Scale”.

In the analysis of data, the SPSS 22.0 program was used, the t-test and the one way variance

(ANOVA) analysis were benefited from among the descriptive and deductive statistics. As a

result of the study; the self-confidence levels were found to be positive in the youth camp female

leader candidates, there was only a significant difference in the female leader candidates’ self-

confidence levels in accordance with the father’s education variable.
