Analysis of Articles Published in Kastamonu Education Journal Between 2010-2016 Years

Abstract

Studies and publications on the field of education are increasing every year. Acting on the fact that the examination of the publications will be guided by future research; Kastamonu Education Journal which is one of the most eminent educational journals in the study area is examined. This research was conducted as document research method, and 631 articles in total 24 issues published between 2010-2016 were analyzed. A total of 78 non-research articles, including book reviews, compilations, and opinion papers published in some journals, were excluded from the analysis, and the journal was analyzed through 553 articles, and findings were presented in graphical format. As a result of the review, while the quality of the last seven years of journal increases, in some areas it was found to be inadequate.
