This study
analyses the attitudes of prospective teachers attending Manisa Celal Bayar
University Faculty of Education during 2014-2015 academic year towards computer-aided
instruction (CAI) in terms of some demographical variables. For this purpose,
CAI attitude scale was conducted on 1432 prospective teachers, and it was found
that the attitudes are positive in average. It is also found that the attitudes
towards CAI in terms of geographical region, program attended, and internet
access are not statistically different, whereas the attitudes towards CAI in
terms of gender, grade and personal computer ownership are statistically
different.
