This research has been conducted in order to examine the effects on children’s problem-
solving skills who attend on the psychosocial development education program of kindergarten.
40 children who take education in a kindergarten school in the district of Ankara Kecioren
have established the working group of the research. 20 children who take preschool education
in the morning have formed the control group and 20 children who take preschool education in the afternoon have formed the checking group. General Information Form, Problem Solving
Skills Scale have been used as a data collection tool. The Psychosocial Development-Based
Education Program which has been prepared by the researcher has been administered to the
children in the experimental group three times in a week throughout two weeks. As the results
are being interpreted as the level of significance of 0.05 has been used. At the result of research,
it was determined that the area of Psychosocial Development-Based Education Program is a
significant difference in children’s problem-solving skills in the experimental group (p <0.05).
The training programs which support children’s problem-solving skills have been seen that
significantly affected problem solving skills at the result of the research.
