OECD ve AB Üyesi Ülkelerin Karayolları Trafik Güvenliği Etkinliği Değişiminin Malmquist Toplam Faktör Verimliliği Endeksi ile Ölçülmesi

Abstract

Trafik kazalarına bağlı ölümler, gelişmekte olan ülkeler ile düşük ve orta gelir grubuna mensup ülkelerde ölüm sebepleri arasında ilk sıralarda yer almaktadır. Bu nedenle, özellikle gelişmekte olan ülkelerde karayolları trafik güvenliği etkinliği analizleri yapılarak, etkin ülkelerin iyi uygulama örneklerinin düşük performans gösteren ülkelere ithali önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada OECD ve AB ülkelerinin 2015-2017 yılları arasında karayolları trafik güvenliği etkinliğindeki değişim, Malmquist toplam faktör verimliliği endeksi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Ülkelerin performanslardaki kararlılıklar ile etkinlik ve toplam faktör verimliliklerindeki değişimlerin sebepleri irdelenmiştir.
