A Model Proposal on Environmental Security at Local Scale

Abstract

Prevention of environmental problems has a strategic
importance of struggle at local scale. Hence, in this study, it is aimed at presenting
a model proposal at neighbourhood scale by putting forward the importance of an
effective organisational structure ensuring environmental security in achieving
sustainable development and social structures. The SWOT analysis has been determined and used as the
method for the evaluation of the model and it has also benefited from
literature review and technical and analytical reports produced by related
institutions and organisations. In order to protect the environment and gain a
secure form, taking initiatives for the residential areas where individuals
live can provide an important mission to be fulfilled. Thus, the proposed model
can contribute to the protection and sustainability of the environment.

Yerel Ölçekte Çevre Güvenliğine İlişkin Bir Model Önerisi

Abstract

Çevre sorunlarının önüne geçilmesinde
yerel ölçekte mücadele edilmesi stratejik öneme sahiptir. Dolayısıyla bu
çalışmada, çevre güvenliğinin sağlanmasında etkin ve verimli bir örgütsel
yapının, sürdürülebilir kalkınma ve toplumsal yapılar elde etmedeki önemi ortaya
koyularak, mahalle ölçeğinde bir model önerisi sunulması amaçlanmaktadır. SWOT analizi modelin
değerlendirilmesinde yöntem olarak belirlenmiş, ayrıca literatür taraması ve
ilgili kurum ve kuruluşların yayınladıkları teknik ve analitik raporlardan da
faydalanılmıştır. Böylece önerilen
modelin, çevrenin korunmasına ve sürdürülebilirliğine katkı sağlayabilmektedir.
