During the writing process, the latest 'Spelling Guide' published by the Turkish Language Association (TDK) must be followed.

The candidate article may be written in Turkish or English. The candidate article submitted to the KMU Journal of Engineering and Natural Sciences is first reviewed by the Editor and/or Assistant Editors for adherence to the Ethical Principles and Publication Policy, as well as the Formatting Guidelines published on the journal's webpage. A submission deemed unsuitable is sent back to the author(s) for necessary corrections before proceeding to the evaluation stage.

A candidate article deemed suitable for evaluation is sent to at least 2 (two) reviewers in the relevant field. In case of a divergence of opinion among the reviewers regarding the evaluated article, the candidate article is sent to a third reviewer. If the candidate article is sent to more than two reviewers, the majority opinion shall be taken as the basis. If deemed necessary, the submissions are returned to the author(s) for revision based on the critiques and suggestions received from the reviewers.

Candidate articles corrected by the author(s) are examined by the relevant reviewer(s) and the editor, and if deemed acceptable, are approved for publication.
