General Principles and Scope
• Articles must include original research or reviews that align with the journal's aims and scope.
• Submitted works must not have been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Articles found to be submitted to another journal simultaneously will be returned.
• Texts can be prepared in the journal's publication languages, Turkish and English.
• Manuscripts not prepared according to the journal's writing rules and template may be directly rejected by the editor without being sent for peer review (KOSTID Article Template).
• Each article is reviewed once for compliance with the journal's writing principles. If requested changes are not made when deemed necessary, the article will be rejected and will not be reconsidered in the same publication period.
Article Preparation Guidelines
• The article should be prepared in the template, following the examples in the template, and must contain between 3,000 and 9,000 words, excluding the abstract and references (KOSTID Article Template).
• Regardless of the language of the article, a 150-200 word abstract must be included in both Turkish and English. For Turkish articles, the abstracts should appear in Turkish first, followed by English; for English articles, the order should be English followed by Turkish. The abstract should contain information on the purpose, scope, method, and results and should be written in a single paragraph. It should not include equations, citations, abbreviations, examples, or references to other sources.
• Following the abstract, at least 3 and at most 5 keywords must be added, appropriate to the language of the abstract. The first letter of each keyword must be capitalized, regardless of whether it is a proper noun.
• For all articles written in Turkish, an extended abstract in English must also be provided. This is intended to enhance the international accessibility of the article and facilitate its sharing within the global scientific community. The extended abstract should be between 600 and 1,000 words, written in Georgia font, 9 pt, and should include the purpose and method, findings, discussion, and conclusion sections.
• Author information should not be included in the article. All information related to the author and the article should be written on the "Title Page Information Form." After the article is accepted following editorial and peer review, the author will be asked to fill in the necessary sections during the layout stage.
