Prof. Dr. Nesrin Kula, has been the Head of Cinema and Television Department in Afyon Kocatepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts since 2006. She became Associate Professor in 2009 and Professor in 2014. She completed her master's degree in February 2000 and her doctorate in August 2004 at Ege University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Radio and Television. She graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Communication, Radio, TV and Cinema in 1997.

She was born in Yenişehir, Bursa. She completed her undergraduate studies in 1993 at Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Traditional Turkish Handicrafts, Carpets, Kilims and Old Fabric Designs. In the same year, she was appointed as a lecturer in the Carpet-Kilim Program at Afyon Kocatepe University, Eşme Vocational School. In 1997, she completed her master's degree in Traditional Turkish Handicrafts at Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Social Sciences. In 2018, she received her proficiency in art from Süleyman Demirel University, Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Art and Design. She currently serves as an associate professor in the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts at Afyon Kocatepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts.
Sena Coşkun graduated from the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department of the Faculty of Communication at Gazi University in 2003. She completed her master's degree in 2006 and her doctorate in 2016 at the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department of the Institute of Social Sciences at Gazi University. She began her academic career in 2004 as a Research Assistant at the Department of Cinema and Television, Faculty of Fine Arts, Afyon Kocatepe University (AKÜ). Coşkun served as the Director of Press, Publication, and Public Relations at AKÜ from 2007 to 2015, returning to her faculty position in 2015. In 2018, he was appointed as an Associate Professor at the Department of Cinema and Television, Faculty of Fine Arts, AKÜ. Currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Cinema and Television at AKÜ Faculty of Fine Arts, Coşkun also serves as the Rector's Advisor and Vice Dean. He has published articles in professional and peer-reviewed journals in the field of media and communication studies, presented numerous papers at national and international scientific conferences, and authored two books.
Gamze Çoban completed her undergraduate education in 2013 at the Department of Architecture at Yaşar University; she completed her master's (2019) and doctoral (2024) education at the Department of Architecture at Gazi University. She began her academic career in 2017 as a Research Assistant at the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Afyon Kocatepe University; she was appointed to the position of Assistant Professor in 2024. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Afyon Kocatepe University, and holds the position of Erasmus Coordinator for the department. Çoban has published articles in peer-reviewed journals indexed in various databases and presented papers at international scientific conferences in the fields of interior design, design education, architectural heritage and conservation, and universal and barrier-free design.
Born in Izmir in 1980, Emin PAFTALI graduated from the Department of Cinema and Television at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dokuz Eylül University. He completed his master's and doctoral education at Anadolu University in the Cinema and Television program. Since 2018, he has been working at the Department of Cinema and Television at Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Fine Arts.

University in 2005, receiving a PhD Degree in Department of Architecture Construction Technology Program, completing her thesis titled ‘The Effect of Luminance, Glare Difference and Colors’ Temperature on Visual Comfort Conditions: A Model Study'.
Prof. Manav, whose main fields of research are lighting systems design, space perception, light and color, light and health, lighting quality, design parameters for user comfort, has 10 research articles
published within the scope of SCI (science citation index), 30 research articles published in journals scanned in field indexes, 85 scientific studies include papers presented and published in domestic and international congresses has edited three congress books, written chapters in 2 books, made presentations at seminars to which she was invited in Turkey and abroad and given professional
interviews. Prof. Manav, whose publications in the WEB of Science database have been cited 484 times (h index 9; i10 index 7), has assumed various administrative tasks, duties in committees and commissions, and pursues memberships in scientific and professional organizations. She has acted as a member and treasurer in the 6th, 7th, and 8th term Executive Boards of Turkish National Committee of Illumination and was the Secretary General in the 9th Term. Her works have been exhibited in national architectural competitions as well as international product design competitions. Also being the winner of TÜBİTAK Incentive Awards, Prof. Dr. Manav has supervised/has been supervising postgraduate theses that have been completed and are ongoing. She has also actively participated in the secretariat/organization and scientific committees of more than 30 national/ international congresses, as well as competition juries; she has worked as an instructor in certification programs on lighting.

He took part in the commissions that updated the Visual Arts Course, Technology and Design Course and Elective Visual Arts Course Curriculum. He also took part in the commission that prepared the books of these programs and served as coordinator. He served in the design centers monitoring committee of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. He took part as an executive in the official establishment and opening of the Private Ahmet Yakupoğlu Museum in 2023, and in moving the Kütahya Dumlupınar University Museum to its new building and activating it. He served as the chairman of the Visual Arts Education Association for two terms. Mercin, who is married and the father of three children, is currently a lecturer at Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Visual Communication Design Department and has been the Dean of the same Faculty since 2019.

Ulaştırma Bakanlığı, Gemi Yapı Teknik ve Meslek Lisesi’nin “Gemi Makinaları” bölümünü bitirerek 15 yıl tersanelerde işçi (döküm, elektrik ve tahliye atölyeleri) olarak çalıştı. Ardından çalışmalarını 1989 yılından itibaren İFSAK’ta sürdürdü. 1994 yılında Mimar Sinan Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi, Sahne ve Görüntü Sanatları Bölümü, Fotoğraf Ana Sanat Dalı’nda lisans eğitimini; 1998 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Enstitüsü, Fotoğraf Ana Sanat Dalı’nda yüksek lisans eğitimini; 2002 yılında ise İstanbul Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, Gazetecilik Ana Bilim Dalı’nda doktora eğitimini tamamladı. Uluslararası yarışmalardaki başarılarından dolayı; FIAP (Uluslararası Fotoğraf Sanatı Federasyonu) tarafından 2001’de AFIAP (Artist of FIAP), 2023’te EFIAP (Excellence of FIAP) ve PSA (Photographic Society of America) tarafından da QPSA unvanları ile onurlandırıldı. 2003’te “Kaybolan Meslekler”, 2004 “Denemeler”, 2007’de “Atatürk Fotoğraflarının Çekilmesi ve Arşivlenmesi”, 2008’de “Atatürk ve Kadın”, 2010’da “Fotoğrafla Geçen Hayatlar” ve 2023’te “Anadolu’nun Yalnız Atları; Yılkılar” adlı araştırma projelerini tamamladı. 2003’te İspanya Fotoğraf Konfederasyonu tarafından desteklenen “Photographers of The End of The Millennium” adlı projede yer alarak “Milenyum Fotoğrafçısı” seçildi. 2002’de yardımcı doçent, 2004’te doçent, 2009’da profesör oldu. Marmara Üniversitesi, Kocaeli Üniversitesi ve İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi’nde 30 yıl öğretim üyesi, bölüm başkanı, dekan yardımcısı, konservatuvar müdürü, enstitü müdürü ve dekan olarak görev yaptı. Fotoğraf alanında 22 kitap ve “Mimariler”, “Sepetçiler” ve “Öyküler” adlı sergilerinin albümlerini yayımladı. Çeşitli kitaplarda bölüm yazarlığı yaptı. Kırgızistan’ın başkenti Bişkek’te doğdu. 1991 yılında Çuykov Devlet Güzel Sanatlar Koleji, Resim Bölümü’ne başladı. Kolejden birincilikle mezun olduktan sonra 1995 yılında Kırgız Devlet İnşaat, Ulaşım ve Mimarlık Üniversitesi’nde ( KGUSTA ) Sanatsal Ürün Tasarımı Bölümü’nü kazandı. 2000 yılında yüksek tahsilini birincilikle tamamladı. Doktora programında eğitim hakkı kazanınca, 2000 yılında Türkiye’ye gitti. Sanatçı, ulusal ve uluslararası birçok sanat sergisine katılmıştır.Kırgız milli giyimi ve kültürü alanında araştırmalar yapmaktadır.
She graduated from the Department of Handicrafts Education at Gazi University's Faculty of Vocational and Informal Education in 1995. She completed her master's degree at Gazi University's Institute of Social Sciences in 1999 and her doctorate at Gazi University's Institute of Educational Sciences in 2010. She currently heads the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University's Faculty of Fine Arts. Her work focuses on handicrafts, weaving, leather, kati, miniature, and hand-carved motifs.

1962 yılında Iğdır‘da doğdu. İlk ve orta öğrenimini burada tamamladı. 1987 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümünden mezun oldu. Hacettepe Üniversitesinde Yüksek Lisans (1990), Marmara Üniversitesi Sanatta Yeterlik (1995) çalışmasını tamamladı. Altı arkadaşıyla birlikte 1992’de Hangar Sanatsal oluşumu kurdu ve Hangar Sanat Defteri’ni 6 sayı yayınladı. 1988-1995 tarihleri arasında İnönü Üniversitesinde, 1995 -2006 arası Mersin Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümünde 2006-2013 arası Gazi Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümünde öğretim elemanı olarak çalıştı. Halen Hacettepe Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümünde öğretim üyesi olarak çalışmaktadır. Çok sayıda ulusal ve uluslararası sergilere katıldı. 20 kişisel sergi açtı. Toplam 7 ödül aldı. Çeşitli dergi ve kitaplarda makaleleri yayınlandı. Aynı zamanda T24 haftalık yazarıdır.
Prof. Dr. Serdar Öztürk, who works with an interdisciplinary approach, has published numerous articles in national and international journals (www.serdarozturk.net); seven books on Turkey’s social and cultural history as well as the sociology and philosophy of cinema, one edited volume, and one translated book on communication sociology. Apart from Coffeehouse and Power in Republican Turkey (1930–1945), his other books are: Cinema, Spectatorship, Politics in the Early Republican Period; The Dialectic of Communication in the Ottoman Empire; Sources of Communication Sociology in Turkey; The Origins of Communication Thought in Turkey; Space and Power: The Sub‑Politics of Communication Spaces through Films; SineFilozofi: A Journey in Akira Kurosawa’s Dreams; The Archaeology of Struggle in Ken Loach’s Films (ed.); and Introduction to the Philosophy of Cinema: Filmmaking Philosophy. In recent years, Öztürk has focused intensively on the philosophy of cinema, publishing a series of works on the subject and teaching abroad. He has served as a visiting scholar at Michigan State University’s College of Arts and Communication. He has also taught courses on film philosophy in Poland and Lithuania.
