Reviewer Policy

-Referee candidates should be experts in the fields addressed by the article. Academics who have completed their doctorate or independent from the institution can apply for refereeing.

-Reviewers should make their criticisms objectively and openly. They should not make decisions in line with their interests or opinions.

-Referees should not conflict with interest with the research or research funders.

-Referees should indicate the relevant published but not cited works; if missing in the article, they should direct the articles to prominent scientists and new works in the field.

-During the refereeing process, the texts should never be shared with third parties, and it should be known that the texts are private to the journal. 

- The candidate in the refereeing process should not transfer information from the article for his/her studies and should not pursue any academic interest.

- They should provide clear and detailed justifications for the articles they will reject.

- Referees should also consider the journal's rules of scientific research and publication ethics while making decisions.


REVIEW PROCESS


All studies submitted to our journal are pre-reviewed. The editorial board carries out this process.

Section editors are assigned to the studies which preliminary review was completed by the editorial board. Section editors evaluate the studies in terms of sufficiency for reviewer evaluation.

At least two reviewers are assigned for the studies which are reviewed as sufficient for reviewing process. The reviewer assignment is conducted in accordance with the principles stated in the reviewing policy.

Reviewers are given 14 days to complete review the manuscripts, and this period is extended for five more days for reviewers who report an excuse within this period. Another reviewer from the relevant field assigned to the study for reviewing process.


Originality Policy
The manuscripts submitted to our journal are examined with Turnitin. Manuscripts with a similarity rate (excluding bibliography) above 15% are not taken under review and returned to the author. If a work published in the journal is found to contain plagiarism, the editorial board reserves the right to take various actions, including returning the article, reporting the issue to the department head, dean and/or relevant institutions in the institution where the author works.

Quality Assurance
Editors are responsible for publishing each article in the journal by the journal's publication policies and international standards.

Protection of Personal Data
The editors protect personal data on the subjects or images included in the evaluated work. The people who contribute to the journal (editors, authors and referees) are given documents showing their contributions upon request.

Precautions Against Possible Abuse and Misconduct
Editors take precautions against possible misconduct and abusive behaviour. In addition to conducting a rigorous and objective investigation into the detection and evaluation of complaints, editors are responsible for sharing their findings with the competent authorities.

Ensuring Academic Publication Integrity
Editors ensure that decisions involving errors, inconsistencies or misleading judgements that appear in works are promptly corrected.

Protection of Intellectual Property Rights
Editors are obliged to protect the intellectual property rights of all published articles, to defend the rights of the journal and authors in case of possible violations, and to take the necessary measures to ensure that the content of all published articles does not violate the intellectual property rights of other publications.

Constructivism and Openness to Discussion
The editors consider the criticisms against the works published in the journal and show a constructive attitude towards these criticisms in line with the purpose and scope of the journal. Authors of the criticised work have the right to reply. Studies containing negative results are rejected.

Complaints

The editors must carefully review the complaints and respond to authors, reviewers or readers in an enlightening and explanatory manner.

Political and Commercial Concerns
The journal's owner, publisher and no other political or commercial factors can influence the independent judgement of the editors.

Conflicts of Interest
The editors guarantee and assure authors and reviewers that the journal's publication process will be conducted independently and impartially.
