FİBROMİYALJİ SENDROMUNDA ELEKTROAKUPUNKTUR İLE VENLAFAKSİN TEDAVİSİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, fibromiyalji sendromlu hastaların tedavisinde; elektroakupunktur (EA) ile venlafaksinin tedavi etkinliğini araştırmak ve karşılaştırmaktır. FMS'li 60 hasta rastgele, eşit iki gruba ayrıldı. Birinci gruba EA; haftada 3 gün, her seans 20 dakika olmak üzere 15 seans uygulandı. İkinci gruba ise Venlafaksin 75 mg/gün, tek doz, 45 gün süreyle kullandırıldı.

Hastaların, tedavi öncesi ve tedavi sonrası bulguları kaydedildi.

Bağımlı ve bağımsız gruplar için Student'in t testi kullanıldı. Bu analizlerde, tedavi öncesi tutukluk ve Beck depresyon envanteri parametrelerinde gruplar arası fark olduğu (p<0.05) görüldü. Diğer parametrelerde anlamlı fark yoktu (p>0.05).

EA tedavisi, tutukluk parametresinde çok anlamlı (p<0.01), diğer parametrelerde ise ileri derecede anlamlı (p<0.001) etki oluşturdu.

Venlafaksin tedavisinde, hassas nokta sayısında çok anlamlı (p<0.01), diğer parametrelerinde ise ileri derecede anlamlı (p<0.001) düzelmeler oldu.

Uygulanan tedavi yöntemleri, biribirleriyle karşılaştırdığında; tutukluk, yorgunluk, hassas nokta sayısı parametrelerinde anlamlı bir fark olmadığı (p>0.05) anlaşıldı. Uyku bozukluğu parametresinde ise her iki yöntemin eşit etkili oldukları sonucuna varıldı. Vizüel analog skala (VAS) ve Beck depresyon ölçeği (BDE) parametrelerinde ise EA tedavisi, venlafaksin tedavisine göre çok anlamlı (p<0.01) düzelme sağladı.

Sonuç olarak kısa dönemde her iki tedavi yönteminin de fibromiyalji sendromunun tedavisinde etkili oldukları görülmüştür. Ancak VAS ve BDE parametrelerinde EA tedavisinin, venlafaksin tedavisine oranla daha etkili olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
