Feminist Kuram ve Toplumsal Gerçeklik: Köktenci Bir Eleştiri

Abstract

Feminizmin toplumsal uyum süreci, beklenen başarıyı elde edebilmiş midir? Feminizmin bugün bulunduğu konumun anlaşılır olmasına adına bu soru önemli bir noktada konumlanmaktadır. Kadının toplumsal konumunun sorgulanması ve ardından örgütlü hareketlerin meydana gelmesi, birinci dalga feminist hareketin ortaya çıkmasına zemin hazırlamıştır. Kadınların tarihi mücadelesi feminizm başlığı altında gelişim gösterirken, yeni sorunlarla da karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Kaleme alınan araştırma makalesi, feminizmin toplumsal uyum sürecinde karşılaşılan sorunları hem feminist teori hem de toplum perspektiften değerlendirirken, sorunların kökenine inerek çözüm önerileri sunmaktadır. Feminist teori, köktenci bir bakış açısı ile değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmuştur. Hem kadınların hak mücadelesinin hem de feminist teorinin daha anlaşılır kılınması adına temel sorunlar belirgin hale getirilmiştir. Çalışmada, eleştirel teorik çerçeve ve eleştirel söylem analizi yöntemleri benimsenmiş, sorunların anlaşılır kılınması adına yazarın hazırladığı venn diyagramı ile kuramın teorik sorunları görselleştirilmiş ve tartışmaya sunulmuştur. Cinsiyete dayalı ayrışmalardan kaçınan araştırma makalesi, feminist kuramın gelişimine katkı sunmayı hedeflerken, kadın haklarının marjinalleştirilmesini engellemek adına çözüm odaklı bir yaklaşım benimsemiştir.

Feminist Theory and Social Reality: A Fundamental Critique

Abstract

Has the social adaptation process of feminism achieved the expected success? This question is an important point in understanding the position of feminism today. The questioning of the social position of women and the subsequent emergence of organized movements paved the way for the emergence of the first wave feminist movement. While the historical struggle of women has developed under the title of feminism, it has also faced new problems. This research article evaluates the problems encountered in the social adaptation process of feminism from the perspective of both feminist theory and society, and proposes solutions by going to the root of the problems. Feminist theory is evaluated from a fundamentalist perspective. In order to make both the struggle for women's rights and feminist theory more comprehensible, the main problems are clarified. In the study, critical theoretical framework and critical discourse analysis methods are adopted, and the theoretical problems of the theory are visualized and presented for discussion with the venn diagram prepared by the author in order to make the problems understandable. Avoiding gender-based distinctions, the research article aims to contribute to the development of feminist theory and adopts a solution-oriented approach to prevent the marginalization of women's rights.
