Born in 1982 in Karadeniz Ereğli (Turkey). He graduated from Karadeniz Anatolian High School (2000).
She graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Psychology (2005). She completed her master's degree in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Near East University (2010). She completed her doctoral thesis in the field of Developmental Psychology at Maltepe University by presenting her doctoral thesis titled “Investigation of memory errors in four different age groups in terms of the development of semantic memory” (2012-2016). She became Assistant Professor in 2017 and Associate Professor in 2023.
She has various national and international book chapters, articles and papers published in the field of social, sexual and cognitive development in children and adolescents and continues her academic studies. Since 2017, she has also been working as a lecturer at the university, and in 2020 she has been working as the administrative head of the department.
