Double Blind Peer Review Process

Blind Review is the most common method used in scientific publications in order to ensure high quality of publication, in other words, to perform an objective evaluation process. It is one of the most common methods used by many academic journals.

In this context, the publications sent to Kocaeli University Journal of Education are evaluated by double-blind arbitration method and the referee's opinions are the most important factor in determining the quality and acceptance of the publications.

The most important strategy followed in order to provide the blind arbitration method is the strategy called double blind. According to the double-blind strategy, the authors do not know the information about which referees are sent. Likewise, the referees who evaluate an article do not know which author (s) have evaluated the work. In other words, the evaluation process is completed by keeping the author and referee identities of an article in the evaluation process confidential.
