Meta Analysis In Medical Sciences
Abstract
Meta analysis is a statistical analysis of results obtained from independent studies to combine the findings. It provides
more powerful and precise estimates than any individual study contributing to the pooled analysis. In this review paper,
the definition and aims of meta analysis, the steps of meta analysis and its advantages and negative criticisms towards
the meta analysis are given.
