Büyüyen Akademik Veri İçin Keşif Araçları: Piri Keşif

Abstract

Bilginin aktarımındaki en önemli yöntem olan yazılı metin üretmek ve yayımlamak yüzyıllarıdır devam eden bir uygulamadır. İnternet dünyası ve bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin gelişmesi ile birlikte bilgi üretimi hiç olmadığı kadar artmıştır. Crossref verilerine göre günümüzde 118 milyon dan fazla akademik yayının DOI kaydı mevcuttur. Tüm bu yayınlar içerisinde arama yapmak çok zaman ve detaylı çalışma gerektiren bir süreçtir. Arama süreçlerini kolaylaştırmak için şimdiye kadar geliştirilen keşif aracı ürünleri ise kolay kullanım, Türkçe veri ve tez arama gibi birçok problem ile birlikte gelir. Bu çalışma yerli ve milli bir keşif aracının gerekliliğini göstermiş ve PİRİ Keşif aracının önemli bazı özelliklerden bahsedilmiştir.

Discovery Tools For Growing Academic Data: Piri Keşif

Abstract

Producing and publishing written texts, which is the most important method of transferring knowledge, is a practice that has been going on for centuries. With the development of the internet world and information and communication technologies, information production has increased more than ever. According to Crossref data, more than 118 million academic publications have DOI records today. Searching among all these publications is a process that requires a lot of time and detailed study. The discovery tool products developed until now to facilitate the search processes come with many problems such as easy use, Turkish data and thesis search. This study showed the necessity of a local and national reconnaissance vehicle and some important features of the PIRI Discovery vehicle were mentioned.
