Drug addiction which is one of the most important social problems nowadays, is among the diseases that both societies and states struggle. Among the drugs that eliminate one's ability to think and judge; heroin, cannabis, cocaine, ectasy, and other stimulants that are derivatives of these substances. There are also differences in the ways in which crimes can be committed by developing technology opportunities and accordingly the expansion of logistics networks. Drug trafficking, which can be described as a crime of humanity, now threatens the future of many societies by gaining an international dimension by crossing the border. In this context, social awareness should be established in the fight against drugs and all institutions should act in common. Turkey Republic, at an important junction point location in drug trafficking, to prevent the supply of the drug, used to pass in front of and need to fight against crime focus on national and international areas. The increase in the number of drug addicts caused public administration to act in coordination with this problem. What’s more, there are some legal regulations, especially the Turkish Penal Code, for restraining drug addiction. The main purpose of this paper is to evaluate the fight against drug addiction and to examine Turkey's annual statistical reports to the Interior Ministry's Department for Fighting Narcotics Crime Directorate about it. In this context in the paper, issued by the ministry in 2014 (including) to 2018 (including) five years between the end of "Turkey Drug Report" were evaluated in a comparative statistics. Relevant data was interpreted in terms of their relations with the subject.
