Abstract

Solvay yöntemi ile yapay soda üretiminin daha pahalı olması nedeniyle piyasada, doğal kaynaklardan üretilen soda miktarında sürekli bir artış olduğu gözlenmektedir. Son yıllarda, doğal soda yataklarına çözelti madenciliği tekniklerinin uygulanması çok önem kazanmış ve bu yöntemlerle, klasik madencilik uygulamalarına oranla, daha başarılı sonuçlar elde edildiği anlaşılmıştır. Ülkemizde de, Etibank tarafından, Beypa­zarı trona yatakları ile ilgili olarak yeraltı madenciliği ve çözelti madenciliği yöntem­leri dikkate alınarak iki alternatif proje üzerinde incelemeler sürdürülmektedir. Bu der­lemenin amacı doğal soda kaynaklarından sodyum karbonat üretimi yöntemleri hak­kında bilgi vermektir

Methods of Production of Sodium Carbonate From Natural Sources

Abstract

Since Solvay plants are more costly than plants operating from natural deposits, a steady increase in the production of natural soda is observed in the market. Recently, the utilization of solution mining techniques in natural soda deposits have gained considerable importance and better results are obtained compared to classical mining methods. The possibilities of underground and solution mining methods have been considered by Etibank as two alternative projects for the purpose of recovering soda from Beypazari trona deposits.
