YETERSİZLİĞE EBEVEYN TEPKİLERİ ÖLÇEĞİ: GELİŞTİRME VE PSİKOMETRİK ÖZELLİKLERİ

Abstract
Yeni bir üyenin aileye katılımının aile üzerinde olumlu ve olumsuz etkileri olmaktadır. Ailenin yeni üyesinin bir yetersizliği olması durumunda; ailenin işlevinin bozulduğu, bireylerin rollerinin değiştiği ve ailenin bu duruma psikolojik tepkiler verdiği alanyazında vurgulanmaktadır. Ailenin tepkilerini açıklayan modeller içinde en yaygın kabul göreni, Kübler-Ross tarafından yas travması için geliştirilen aşama modelidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Kübler-Ross tarafından geliştirilen bu modele dayalı olarak, ailenin yetersizliğe verdiği tepkileri ölçecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir nicel araç geliştirmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Ebeveyn Tepkileri Ölçeğinin (ETÖ) maddelerini oluşturmak için nicel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Aşamalar sonucunda elemelerden sonra geriye kalan 98 madde beşli Likert tipi ölçek formatına dönüştürülmüş ve toplam 304 yetersizliği olan çocuğun ebeveynine uygulanmıştır. Bu uygulamada elde edilen veriler ile ETÖ’nün faktör yapısı, geçerliliği ve güvenirliği incelenmiş ve sonuçlar rapor edilmiştir. ETÖ toplam 5 faktörden (şok, inkar ve suçluluk, pazarlık, depresyon, farkındalık ve kabul) oluşan bir yapı göstermektedir.
