Talip is one of the rare figures of the Republican era grown with Ottoman culture. Poet did not participate to common literary trend that was popular during his peri od and as a result of his cultural background has written poems affıliated to Divan poetry tradition. As far as understood from the terms used in his poems he was good at Arabic and Persian, and religious and mystical literature is alsa dominant in his poetry. Divine !ove is the main theme of his poems written with syllabic meler and aruz. In his poems the utterance is sincere and the language is fluent. In the article, we tried to examine his life , literary personality and the characteristics of his poetry. And alsa tried to interpret his poetry by the annotation of a ghazel.
