Editor in Chief and Field Editors

The editor-in-chief is responsible for the entire article review process.
The editor-in-chief decides whether the article is relevant to the journal in terms of subject, content and form.
The Language Editor evaluates the article in grammatical terms and gives the Editor-in-Chief an opinion.
After the preliminary evaluation, the editor-in-chief sends the article to the referees or the field editor for review and evaluation.
In articles where the field editors are the authors, the field editor is not included in the article evaluation process. The editor conducts and completes the evaluation process for the articles in which the editor-in-chief is the author.
The first place of application for complaints or ethical violations in matters related to the journal is the editor-in-chief. If a solution cannot be found here, the final decision-maker is the Editorial Board of the Journal.

The Editorial Boards

The Editorial Board is responsible for the improvement and development of the journal's policy and publication rules.
They do not take part in the article evaluation process, except when they are appointed as Field Editors or referees.
They advise the Editor-in-Chief and Field Editors.

Reviewers

The reviewers do not share the articles sent to them for evaluation with third parties.
They are obliged to make explanations by examining the current literature objectively and specifying the sections and statements that need to be corrected or added in red on the article.
They are also obliged to fill in the article evaluation form.
The reviewers can not negotiate with authors about the article. The arbitration of those who are detected will be cancelled.
The reviewers send their requests to the authors via the editor-in-chief through the journal system.

Publishing Board

Publishing Board of the Journal is the Board of Directors of S.Ü. Mushroom Application and Research Center. The Publishing Board is authorized to review and decide when there are any ethical complaints in the operation of the journal.

The works submitted to our journals are first judged grammatically. After this phase, articles are sent two reviewers. If necessary, the third reviewer is assessed. In the publication of works, a decision is made by evaluating the level of contribution to science and readers within the criteria specified in the writing rules. Reviewers are requested to submit their assessments within 30 days at the latest. The reviewers' evaluations and the answers to these evaluations are reviewed by the editor and it is decided whether the work will be published or not.
