The Problems and Solution Suggestions of Art Teaching Programs at Fine Arts Teaching Departments
Abstract
21. Century will be age of the innovation and reform in terms of education in Visual Art Education. It is thought that, as the human being changes his perceptions on the external world by the help of art education; he/she becomes more creative, more self-confident, productive and willing to have positive effect upon his social environment. Teacher has very important role on art education. Because of this, raining of students is important from the point of training qualified art teachers. This situation increases the responsibilities and duties of the art teachers. However, some problems have been faced in training art teachers in Turkey. The problems in training candidate art teachers that will be effective at future of Turkey should be eradicated. In this study, the problems that have been encountered at Art Teaching Programs at Fine Arts Teaching Departments have debated and some solutions for these problems have been attempted to be presented.
