SUMMARY
Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to explore the vocational expectations of the students
who attend in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology (CEIT).
With this aim in mind, 526 students from the universities of Çukurova, Dokuz Eylül, Gazi,
Karadeniz Technical, Marmara, Ondokuz Mayıs ve Uludağ completed the questionnaires
pertaining to their vocational expectations. To specify the dependency between demographic
characteristics and vocational expectations c2 was conducted. At the end, it was revealed
that vocational expectations of the students depend on their gender, parents’ income, class
and universities.
