Searching Internal Motivation According to Some Variables
Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the internal and noninternal motivations of students that study in primary schools’ II.nd stage according to some variables. The study has the quality of a descriptive situation determing and it was carried out in 2004-2005 educattion year by using method of
qualitative research. The study was applied to 333 students that study in primary school’s 8. class in century of Trabzon. The form of structured interview and questionnarie were used as the means of data collection . Structured interview form that contain 1 question for teachers, 2 for students, 1 for parents was applied for determining that whether students have internal motivation or not. The questionnarie was applied to students that contains 12 questions which
provide the investigation of internal motivated students and not motivated ones in respect of some changables. At the end of the study the achieved findings were supported the hypothesis that internal motivated students think that they are more sufficient than the not motivated ones on the subjects of planned studying, preparing studying programe, knowing the methods of profitable studying, to warned less by their families about their studying and to feel themselves more sufficient in lessons.
