The Teaching Management Behavior That the Students Expect from the Teachers in the Biology Laboratory Lessons

Abstract

This study is conducted to determine the teaching management behaviors that the
students expect from the teachers in the biology laboratory lessons. “Evaluation form of the
Teacher’s Teaching Management Behaviors” was administered to 308 high school students.
This form includes 25 items. The findings indicate that the students expect the following
behaviors: informing on the aims, motivating, feedback. The study shows that certain
behaviors are expected more than the others. It seems that these expected behaviors are
expected behaviors will contribute to the success of the teachers. Based on the finding, some
suggestions are developed.
