Öğretmenlerin Değişime Hazır Olma Durumlarının Farklı Değişkenlere Göre İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin değişime hazır olma durumlarını farklı değişkenlere göre
incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Anadolu
yakasındaki resmi okullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerden basit tesadüfi örneklem yöntemiyle
belirlenen 348 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplamak amacıyla “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve
Kondakçı, Zayim ve Çalışkan tarafından 2013 yılında geliştirilen “Değişime Hazır Olma Ölçeği”
kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi sonucunda; öğretmenlerin değişime hazır olma durumlarına ilişkin
algılarının cinsiyet, medeni durum, mesleki kıdem, en son bitirilen okul, lisansüstü eğitim ve
hizmet-içi eğitim alınıp alınmama durumuna göre anlamlı farklılıklar göstermediği belirlenmiştir.
Ancak öğretmenlerin değişime hazır olma durumlarına ilişkin algılarının yaş değişkenine göre
anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin değişime hazır olma durumlarına
ilişkin algılarında yaşa göre daha genç olan öğretmenler lehine farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. Buna
göre değişime hazır olma düzeylerinin arttırılmasına yönelik yaş olarak büyük olan öğretmenlerin
değişim sürecine dahil edilerek yeni rol ve sorumluluklar üstlenmeleri sağlanabilir. Böylelikle
bu öğretmenlerin, genel yaşam ve mesleki deneyimlerinden faydalanıldığı gibi değişime direnç
oluşturmalarının önüne geçilebilir.
