İstanbul Üniversitesi İktisat Fakültesi İngilizce İktisat Bölümü’nden 1999 yılında mezun oldu. Yüksek lisans ve doktorayı aynı üniversitenin Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü’nde tamamladı.
İstanbul Üniversitesi öğretim üyesi ve Bankacılık Araştırma Merkezi Müdürü’dür.
Başta İstanbul Üniversitesi olmak üzere çeşitli üniversitelerde bankacılık ve finans konularında lisans ve yüksek lisans düzeylerinde dersler vermektedir. 2003 yılında 5411 sayılı Bankacılık Kanunu Tasarısı TBMM Bütçe Plan Komisyon üyesi, 2005 yılında DPT 9. Kalkınma Planı Finansal Hizmetler Özel İhtisas Komisyon üyesi, 2008 yılında T.C Ulaştırma Bakanlığı İntermodal Finansman Özel İhtisas Komisyonu üyesi ve 2012 yılında T.C Kalkınma Bakanlığı 10. Kalkınma Planı Finansal Hizmetler Özel İhtisas Komisyon üyesi olarak görev yaptı.
She completed his undergraduate education at Istanbul University. Özmen, who studied Classical Philology at the Faculty of Letters, started to work as a Research Assistant at Istanbul University, School of Communication in 1997. He completed his master's and doctorate education at Istanbul University, Department of Radio-TV and Cinema, and received his PhD in 2004. She has been University of Texas PanAm for post doctorate study. Seçkin Özmen, who received the title of associate professor in 2009, became a professor in 2014. Her work focuses on gender, media audience, television dramas, qualitative research methods, film studies and new media. He has articles published in national and international journals, book chapters and presentations to national and international symposiums and conferences. Özmen, who still continues his studies at Istanbul University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio and Television Cinema, speaks English and reads and writes Latin.
Dr. A. Çetintaş is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Health Sciences, Malatya Turgut Özal University. He conducts his research at both theoretical and empirical levels, with a focus on theoretical and conceptual sociology, political thought and social movements, historical-sociological analyses, social structure and identity studies, social problems and disadvantaged groups, media, technology and social transformation, as well as disaster and risk studies. In this context, his research examines the functioning of social structures, the historical and contemporary dimensions of processes of social change, identity formations, and the emergence of social problems in different contexts. He also teaches various courses focusing on general sociology, social structure and related issues, and the dynamics of social change.
